  • Fidelity Out of Sudan - This campaign began when a few of the members of the Massachusetts Coalition to Save Darfur became aware of Fidelity's large holdings in oil companies operating in Sudan. Since Fidelity's headquarters are at 82 Devonshire Street in downtown Boston, it was natural for Darfur activists from Massachusetts to seek to engage them about their large investments in the Sudanese oil industry. After several months of attempts to engage Fidelity privately, it became clear that a broad-based, public campaign was required to pressure Fidelity to change their investing strategy in Sudan. This website and the associated Fidelity Out of Sudan divestment campaign is the result.
